Reflective post blog commenting

This week I have been looking at how other people comment on other student's blog's. It has been really easy because my teacher's already taught me. Thing's I got to work on, replying to  my comment's on my blog and try to end with a question mark (?).

My class assembly

Last week it was my class assembly. I had to sing a song with my friends. But I didn't learn the words so I didn't at the end. The hard part was not doing the song and the easy part was doing something else with my teacher. This is a lesson that I kinda learnt that if I want to do a item that includes learning. I got to learn so I can next time perform with my class.

My reading reflection

This week we have been doing reading activities. It has been really cool reading articles about the past Olympics, reading about NZ Olympians and designing our own Olympic stadium. I have struggled to remember to stop making my work look pretty and get on with the work :). My next steps is to get on with the work and stop making it look pretty :).

My measuring reflection

 I have found measuring in cm’s really challenging because you have to remember to start from the first line on a ruler. But turning it into mm’s is easy because I just have to remember to put the decimal point to the right :). It was really cool because we were allowed to measure other stuff in the classroom. My next steps is to measure in cm’s and know how to turn it into mm’s without using the ruler.

This week has been known as Olympic week well kind of. Well anyways in my class we have been chosen to rep it for Brazil it has been really fun :). Through the week my class had to pick a country out of Brazil and study on it. We got given 10,000 dollars to get us accommodation for 7 nights, for transport when we get to the airport, record the food that we're going to eat, To go explore outdoors and to get tickets to the Olympic games. I have picked "Porto Alegre" in Brazil it has been really fun because we can  go exploring a place that is unique in its own way :). Hope you enjoy:).

A wish of a holiday

This week we have been writing stories that we really wanted to do in the holidays but didn't. It has been really creative because you can set your mind to something you really want to do and you can make it seem like you actually did it. I have choose to write about the beach because it can take your mind off life just so you can enjoy the beautiful beach. Hope you enjoy :)

Nga Hakari

For the last few weeks we have been working on a google slides about Nga hakari. To some people that mite not know what "Nga hakari " mean's, It means to prep a massive feast. It was pretty  fun and I enjoyed it.

My Book Review

This week I have been learning to make a Book Review on my book called War Horse. I really enjoyed this is was so cool trying to create your own picture's.  Hope you all enjoy:). 

My chocolate family

Last week I learnt about metaphors. A metaphor is like an simile but you don't use "like" or "as", but you use "is" instead . We had to make a poem that describe's our families personality by using chocolates that suits them best. I hope you enjoy my poem.

This was a really good experience because we combined dry and wet ingredients into a small little bottle to see if the gas will escape and explode or not.

1. Start at Green Lagoon.
2. Walk North to go through The Forever Forest
3. Turn to the left and walk though Kawiti caves
4. Turn forwards to go through 1 land bridge
5. When you go into Cloud Maker you have to try bite the cloud maker to stop the clouds from coming.
6. Swim your way in the Flower Land
7. Turn West and go up Mount Everest
8. See the snowman then your find my treasure.
